Happy Thanksgiving

The Writing Center would like to wish you well as you celebrate Thanksgiving with friends, family, and loved ones. As we move into the holiday season, please know that we do sincerely appreciate all of the business that we've had this semester. Currently, we have served over 400 students in the Writing Center and we look forward to serving many more next semester. Thank you for allowing us to serve you. What's coming up? For anyone interested, I will be conducting the second "Dirty Dozen" workshop on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 from 11:00 -11:45 a.m. in Trustee's Room 325. This workshop will focus on PRONOUN-ANTECEDENT ERRORS and VAGUE or UNCLEAR PRONOUN REFERENCE ERRORS. If you would like to attend, stop by the Writing Center and add your name to the sign-up sheet.

Since research papers are often longer than other assignments, we may not be able to get through an entire draft in just one session. - Bring all prewriting that you have done.
